Crush of the World

Weight. Pressing down.
Awake, dress, trying to hide in the lee.
Soft words spoken, hide harsh meanings.
They yell, they order. I stumble and fall.
Time is the enemy, and nothing my friend.
Rush. Rush. Win the race.
Never finished, feeling older.
The crush of the world on my back.
